Overview
This task allows you to adjust the matching rules uses when creating a new Person, Location, or Organization to detect any previously created records with the same data.
Before You Begin
Log into the Zift PRM admin site with adminTask Level 3 rights.
How to Configure Data Matching Rules
- Navigate to .
- Click on Matching.
- Select the entity type you want to match on; Person, Location, or Organization.
- In the Multi-select List for the entity fields, select which ones to check for duplication.
Any new Person, Location, or Organization will be tested on the selected fields against existing entities when you click Save. If the new record matches an existing one, you will be shown an informative error message.
