Overview
Once you have mapped objects between the CRM and Zift PRM, you may add further mappings at the field level. This added granularity will allow you to manage common occurrences such as setting default values, treating empty strings as null, and so on.
Before You Begin
How to Create Additional Field Mappings
- Navigate to .
- Click on the
icon for the desired object.
- Click Add.
- Provide the following information:
- Direction: Specifies if this object will be updated on the CRM (Import) or in Zift PRM (Export) or both.
- Remote Field: This is the column of the CRM object that you wish to map to. The list of available choices can be significantly shortened by first selecting the Zift PRM Field.
- Zift PRM Field: This is the column on the selected object that you wish to map to.
- Active: Toggles whether or not the field is currently being synchronized.
- Required: Specifies if the field is mandatory when this object is active.
- Notes: Use this space to provide information about this field mapping. This information is very helpful for future administrators who may need clarification about why an object was configured in a particular way.
You have now created a new field mapping on a standard object. This will allow the CRM and Zift PRM to communicate (according to the directionality setting).
