Overview
Marketing Development Funds (MDF) allow partners to request funds that will be used to support their future marketing activities. The funds are drawn from budgets that your organization has previously authorized. The MDF module allows you to track the amounts available and the amounts spent.
MDF is designed as a hierarchical system that supports different levels of approval.
Use this procedure to allocate funds to a Budget Group.
Before You Begin
- Log into PRM Admin with fundTask Level 2 rights.
How to Use Budget Group Allocation
- Navigate to .
- Click Add.
- Provide the following information for this allocation:
- Budget Group: Select which Budget Group this allocation relates to. This will filter which Budgets are displayed in the next field.
- Period: Select the period of validity for this allocation. Only the available choices will be displayed. If the list does not display any options it is because a budget has previously been allocated for each of the periods.
- Amount: This is the amount of currency that is being granted.
- Authorized: Specifies if this allocation has been authorized.
- Click Save.
