The following concepts are explained in this article:
Event Rights
For each Event, the Owner may grant other users different levels of access.
- Level 3: This level of rights is granted automatically to the owner of the Event. This person has all rights to the Event and can allocate managers (Level 2). They can change all of the Event settings or cancel the Event if required.
- Level 2: This level of rights is granted by the owner to the Event Managers. These users have the rights to add delegates to the invitee list and to send invitations.
- Level 1: This level of rights only allows individuals to view the Event.
Each must have the corresponding eventTask security right level. For example, a user can only create an Event if they have eventTask Level 3 rights. They will only be able to grant manager rights to users who have the level 2 eventTask entitlement. The highest level of rights that can be given to the user is displayed with the user's name from the selection panel.
A fourth level, with a corresponding Level 4 for eventTask is available for the Events Module. This level allows the user access to the Event configuration options. Users with this level of rights will see an additional option in the Events menu, Setup.
Event KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
Whether they are on-location or on-line, Events represent a significant investment in your Partner program and you will need clear business intelligence about how much your Partners engage when you offer these opportunities. There are four different methods of viewing this information:
- Events app Screen: The main Events Screen allows you to access basic information about Event registrations and delegates.
- Event Activities: These are available on the Partner Dashboard and will show metrics a selected date range.
- Events Reports: There are several reports that provide collated information about Reports.
- Profiles: There are multiple Profiles that are used to capture data regarding Events. Many of these have a reporting option.
