Zift PRM is shipped with a set of pre-defined Lead types. If you would like to add or modify the available options, you can do this by

Zift PRM is delivered with a pre-defined set of Lead Types. If you would like to add or modify the available options, you do this by following the steps below.

Before You Begin

Log into Zift PRM with adminTask Level 1 or greater rights.

How to Add a Lead Type

1. Navigate to Configure > Sales Automation > Lead Type.
2. Select the Lead Source to edit or click Add Record.
3. Provide the following information:

Parameter	Type	Description
Field name	Text	This must be leadTypeID to create a new Lead Type.
Item Text	Text	Name of the new Lead Type.
Extra Info	Boolean	Set to No.
Description	Text	Short description of the Lead Type. 50 characters maximum.
IsParent	Boolean	Set to No unless this Lead Type will have child Lead Types.
IsDefault	Boolean	Set to Yes to make this Lead Type the default selection.
InputType	Text	Leave blank unless directed by your Zift Solutions Project Team.
IsLive	Boolean	Set this to Yes to make the Lead Type available for use.
Locked	Boolean	Set to No.
LookupTextID	Text	Set this to the same value as the Item Text.
SortOrder	Integer	Order in any lists. Items will be listed by alphabetical order within the same SortOrder ranking.
