Delete a User

Overview

In some cases, it may be necessary to delete a user. For example, as a result of a GDPR Request. To preserve data integrity, this is a soft delete but the user's record will no longer be available to view or edit. The process can be reversed by following the instructions to Undelete Users.

Before You Begin

Log into the Zift PRM admin site as a user with adminTask Level 1 or greater rights.

How to Delete a User

1. 1. In the search bar, enter the user's name or ID number. Click the Search icon and select the appropriate record from the dropdown list.
   2. In the 3-panel view, tick the check-box beside the name of the person you want to delete.
   3. Open the Person Functions dropdown menu. Select Delete checked people.

   If the deletion was successful, you will see a popup window confirming that the Delete Person flag has been set for the selected person.
