Manage SAML Service Providers: Identity Provider Metadata

Overview

The first step in designating Zift PRM as the service provider is to produce an XML file that can be shared with the identity provider.

This step generates the XML metadata file that the identity provider requires.

Log into PRM Admin with ssoTask Level 3 rights.

Best Practice for Relaytags

While you can use more than one Relaytag on a single page, we recommend that you only do so if the Relaytags are querying different data. Interference and unexpected behavior may result if two Relaytags on a single page attempt to access the same data.

How to Generate Identity Provider Metadata

1. Navigate to Administration > Manage SAML Service Providers.
   
   
2. Click Identity Provider Metadata.
   
   
3. Select a certificate from the Certificate Used drop-down list and a portal from the Portal drop-down list.
4. Click Download.
