Manage SAML Service Providers: Add New Service Provider

Overview

 This article describes how to set up Zift PRM as an Identity Provider.

You will need the XML metadata file from the service provider administrator. This task is the last step in setting up Zift PRM as a SAML Identity Provider.

Before You Begin

Log into PRM Admin with ssoTask Level 3 rights.

Best Practice for Relaytags

While you can use more than one Relaytag on a single page, we recommend that you only do so if the Relaytags are querying different data. Interference and unexpected behavior may result if two Relaytags on a single page attempt to access the same data.

How to Add a New SAML Service Provider

1. Navigate to Administration > Manage SAML Service Providers.
   
   
2. Click Add New Service Provider.
   
   
3. Click Populate From Meta Data.
4. Navigate to the location of the XML metadata from the service provider. Click Open
5. [Optional] Edit the Service Provider Name to be user-friendly. 
6. Edit the NameID field to the agreed identifier.
7. If more then one certificate is defined, select which certificate was used to Generate Identity Provider Metadata.
8. The last three fields are optional. Setting these fields will supplement the data sent to the service provider with additional fields.
9. Click Save.
