Add Products

Overview

The Zift PRM Product app provides an easy-to-use platform for managing all your available products into one hierarchy of individual Products, Product Groups, Product Categories, and Catalogs. Organizing your Products into Categories and Groups will allow you to display the information on your Portal for visitors to easily browse and learn about your available Products.

This procedure allows you to create new Products.

Before You Begin

Log into PRM Admin with orderTask Level 2 rights and incentiveTask Level 2 rights.

How to Add Products

1. Navigate to Products > Products.
2. Click Add.
3. Provide the Product Parameter values.
   
   

   Label	Type	Description
   SKU	Text	This is the unique Stock Keeping Unit number for the product.
   Label	Text	[Optional]
   Title	Text	The user-friendly Product name that will be displayed on the Portal. Translatable.
   Language	Drop-down List	[Optional] The language of this Product listing.
   Salesforce ID	Text	[Optional] The Salesforce.com identification number for this Product.
   Product Category: Product Group	Drop-down List	[Optional] The Product Group that this Product is in.
   Restrict to Countries	Multi-select List	[Optional] Select the countries where this Product is available.
   Active	Radio Button	[Optional] Specify if this Product is to be displayed.
   Display Information: Long Description	Text	[Optional] Brief description of the Product to display on the Portal. Translatable.
   Thumbnail Image	Upload	[Optional] Upload a small image to be used as a representative thumbnail for this Product.
   High Resolution Image	Upload	[Optional] Upload a high-resolution image of this Product
   PDF Brochure	Upload	[Optional] Upload a Product Brochure to the Product definition.
   Pricing Information: Pricing Type		[Optional] Specify if this Product is priced as a license or unit.
   Seats	Text	[Optional] For units or licenses; select the minimum and maximum number of seats that may be purchased, For example, minimum of 10 order and maximum of a 100 order.
   List Price	Text	[Optional] Specify the usual list price for the Product.
   Discount Price	Text	[Optional] Specify the discounted price for the Product.
   Currency	Drop-down List	[Optional] Currency in which the list price is displayed.
   Reseller Discount	Text	[Optional] Discount to apply for resellers.
   Distributor Discount	Text	[Optional] Discount to apply for Distributors.
   Accrual Method	Drop-down List	[Optional] Determines how the Partner points will be accrued. This can be either manual or automatic.

4. Click Save.
