Data De-Duplication (Fuzzy Rules) - Recreate Match Keys

Overview

Zift PRM automatically manages the process of de-duplication of records when those records are identical.

Use the procedure below to reset entity match names. Match names are one of the ways used to find matches. They form different strings that make it possible to match organisations, locations and people.

Before You Begin

Log into PRM Admin with adminTask Level 1 rights or greater.

How to Use Recreate Match Keys

1. Navigate to Administration > Data De-Duplication (Fuzzy Rules)
2. Click Re-create Match Keys.
   
   
3. Select to update Organization, Location or Person Match names. You can choose to update all 3 options at the same time.
   
   
4. Click Yes. This process can run for some time, as it checks the whole database. A notification will appear when the procedure has completed.
