Overview
Zift PRM includes several active and passive tools for effective data management. The database automatically identifies duplicate data and either removes it (if it is identical in all respects) or seeks confirmation before taking action. This is handled by the Fuzzy Rules system.
Before You Begin
Log into PRM Admin with adminTask Level 1 rights or greater.
How to Identify Duplicated Data
- Navigate to Administration > Edit De-Duplication (Fuzzy Rules).
- Select Find Dupes.
- In the Multi-select List, select which ones to check for duplication.
- Select from the Displayed Duplicates.
- Select Generate matches.
FYI: Any new Person, Location, or Organization will be validated against existing entities when you click Update. If the new record matches an existing one, you will be shown an error message.
