WARNING
Changes to the security task rights or standard user groups may make your Zift PRM environment unstable. Do not proceed without consulting your Zift Solutions project team.
Overview
Zift PRM provides very fine control over the access and visibility to functionality. Access on the Portal is controlled through visibility (external) user groups and page visibility settings. Access to the PRM Admin options is also controlled by user groups but with security rights instead of visibility rights.
The procedure below explains how to grant the users in a user group rights to access additional areas of Zift PRM. The security rights are tiered. Generally, there are three levels for each security right. Level 1 allows the users to view the relevant data, Level 2 allows the users to edit the relevant data, and Level 3 allows users to modify the structure of the data.
User access should always be managed through User Groups.
Use this procedure to modify security settings to enable or disable user access to specific areas of Zift PRM functionality.
Before You Begin

To modify security settings:
- Navigate to Administration > User Groups.
