Overview
Zift PRM recommends using Profile Attributes to assign Users to User Groups as best practice. This is because it automates User management. As each Person's profile is modified, they are added or removed from User Groups as appropriate. This approach ensures consistency and makes it easier for administrators to display content appropriately.
In exceptional cases, you may opt to add internal Users to User Groups manually. The procedure below describes how to add one or more users to a user group manually. It only applies to internal users. This is intended behaviour.
Once you have followed these steps, the Users in the User Group have been updated. All users in a User Group inherit the rights granted to the User Group and users have the highest level of rights of any User Group they are members of.
You can repeat the process for other groups by selecting the desired Group from the top Drop-down List. The user list will be immediately refreshed.
Before You Begin
Log into the Zift PRM admin site with adminTask level 1 or greater and userTask Level 3 rights.
